Veejay Terry Products Limited (VTPL), promoted by Sri. J. Vijayakumar along with family members with three decades of varied business interests spanning textile machinery manufacturing and textile plastic components, was incorporated in 1987 as V.K.L. Textiles P. Ltd for manufacturing knitted terry towels. The present management later pivoted the business to cotton yarn spinning, and terry towel manufacturing has since been discontinued.

VTPL’s textile mill is situated at Annur, 30 km from Coimbatore on NH 209, where the company produces 100% cotton yarn in the count range of 40s to 80s, in combed and carded counts, catering to the needs of the weaving industry. The company maintains a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction to sustain demand for its yarn.

VTPL has installed and operates windmills with a total capacity of 2.40 MW as part of its efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, reflecting the company’s environmental commitment alongside its core cotton yarn manufacturing business.
