Arun Textiles, established in 1989, started its spinning unit for manufacturing 100% Cotton Combed Syro Cleared Yarn and has grown over more than three decades into one of the largest spinning units in South India, based in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu. The Arun Textiles Group specialises in textile production through spinning, weaving and knitting divisions, with a spinning capacity of 76,000 spindles.

The company’s spinning unit is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery including SUESSEN Elite Compact Sets, 22 T.F.O Twisting machines, and Schlafhorst Autoconers 338 with USTER QUANTUM 3 and Siro Yarn clearers. Arun Textiles manufactures 100% cotton combed compact yarn from 40s to 100s, and Combed Single yarn from 40s to 100s, for both knitting and weaving applications used in high-quality shirting fabrics.

The weaving division operates over 330 imported rapier weaving machines, while the knitting division manufactures and exports quality knitted garments to markets in Europe and the USA. The company is certified by Cotton USA National Federation and Quality Ginners, maintaining uniform cotton mixing over considerable periods for consistent quality yarn output.
