Gajavelli Spinning Mills Pvt. Ltd., part of the GNR Group established in 1979, is one of the leading ginning, spinning and weaving conglomerates in India, based at Narakoduru, Andhra Pradesh. Over the last five decades, GNR Group has expanded its business across various segments in the textile manufacturing supply chain, serving customers globally.

The group’s journey began in the 1980s as GNR Cotton Corporation, manufacturing ginned cotton bales supplied across India and later expanding into cotton trading with over 50 multinational company customers globally. In the early 2000s, the group diversified by establishing Gajavelli Spinning Mills Pvt. Ltd. to manufacture premium quality cotton yarns of various counts, followed by GNR Weaving Mills Pvt. Ltd. in 2021 to produce grey fabrics for global apparel manufacturers.

GNR Group has invested extensively in environmental sustainability, including a 2 MW windmill and a 1.5 MW in-house solar unit built in 2022, reflecting the group’s commitment to renewable energy across its ginning, spinning and weaving operations.
