India Denim Limited (IDL), a subsidiary of Konark Synthetic Ltd. and part of the diversified Konark Group, is a completely automated spinning unit located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, producing finest quality yarn spun from the best available natural cotton. The cotton fibre industry accounts for nearly 60% of India’s total domestic fibre consumption, and India is the third largest producer of cotton fibre in the world after the US and China.

Spread across 25 acres of land, IDL has an installed capacity of 36,000 spindles for ring spinning and 3 lines for open-ended spinning, operating on advanced international technology. The company has an expansion plan to increase its capacity to 1,00,000 spindles in the near future, reflecting the group’s growth ambitions in the cotton spinning segment.

IDL’s product range includes cotton yarns in Carded, Combed and Compact varieties, catering to both the local and export markets.
