Malkar Industries

Malkar Industries, established in 1972, manufactures and exports precision gears and allied engineering components, with recognized expertise in hardened and ground spur, helical, and worm/worm wheel gears used in gearboxes, actuators, wiper motor fans, and instruments. The company also manufactures ground-finished worms, thread rolling dies, lead screws, hob cutters, and serration cutters, alongside its Rapid-brand knurling tools and holders and Apex-brand lead screws.

Malkar Industries maintains in-house facilities for gear hobbing, gear grinding, thread grinding, and hob cutter manufacturing, supported by test and inspection equipment including optical profile projectors, tool mark microscopes, gear roll testers, 3-wire measuring units, and lead and profile testers. Its gear division uses multiple gear hobbing machines to produce industrial and automotive gears from 0.5 to 1.5 module, checked against DIN standard accuracy on CNC lead and profile testers. Thread rolling dies are produced in HSS and D2 tool steel with controlled heat treatment, and serration and hob cutters are made to customer specification in HSS, M35, and M42 materials.
