RECO Process Pumps

RECO Process Pumps is a Coimbatore manufacturer of industrial process pumps, centrifugal pumps and axial flow pumps. The company makes horizontal, vertical and multistage pumps in special alloys for harsh, corrosive duties, and says it has delivered more than 5,000 pumps over about 25 years, using over 150 custom designs.

Typical applications include phosphoric acid and fertiliser plants (PAP and DAP pumps), copper and zinc plants, pulp and paper mills with high-consistency stock pumps, heavy-duty slurry pumps for metals and mining, and API-610 10th edition pumps for refineries and petrochemical plants. Materials include duplex steel, Sanicro 28 and Hastelloy grades, and capacities range from 0.5 m3/hr to 10,000 m3/hr depending on the model.

The company has an end-to-end facility from furnaces and casting of up to 2 tons of high alloy in a single pour, to CNC machining, dynamic balancing machines up to 10 tons and a test bed of up to 650 kW with flow meters and data loggers. It follows ISI, ASME, DIN and BS standards, and says its pumps last about three times longer than global competitors in some applications.
