Sri Ramnarayan Mills Limited (SRNML) is among the very few mills established more than 5 decades ago in the Coimbatore region, known as the ‘Manchester of South India,’ with manufacturing facilities near Periyanaickenpalayam in the city’s suburbs. The mill has concentrated solely on spinning operations since inception, producing high count cotton yarns for domestic and international markets.

SRNML’s major product is 60s carded yarn on cones used in power looms, along with 90s count combed yarn, both catering mostly to power loom customers in Maharashtra state. The company sources ‘A grade’ raw cotton directly from cotton ginners with automatic ginning plants in quality cotton-growing areas of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.

The mill has gradually improved its quality through the installation of Hi-Tech machines, backed by an internal quality control department with trained personnel who frequently monitor product quality. SRNML has developed a well-connected distribution network for yarn across India, including Mumbai, Bhilwara and Kolkata.
