The company started operations in 1979 with cotton trading and today has an annual turnover of USD $50 million, with a vision to expand to USD $100 million within the next 8 years.

Led by visionary Managing Director Mr. P. Raghava Rao and Chairperson K. Hanumantha Rao (late), the Tirumala group has achieved forward integration in the cotton commodity chain, now operating facilities spanning cotton-to-cloth processing across multiple stages: Cotton Spinning, Cotton Seed Processing (started 1992, now processing 500 MT/day, one of India’s leading cotton seed processors), and Renewable Energy via hydel power generation.
