Winsome Textile Industries Limited is a Chandigarh-headquartered yarn and fabric producer, part of the Winsome Group, which began operations in 1951 as a trading company in Kolkata. Winsome has grown into a leading producer of yarns and knitted fabrics for the Indian and global markets, serving over 250 customers internationally and more than 600 customers within India, and has been repeatedly recognised as one of India’s top exporters of processed yarn.

Products: Winsome manufactures raw white yarn, dyed yarn, mélange yarn (including neps, jaspe/siro, sparkle, shiny, chill and flake, vintage, injection slub, wool touch and linen-look variants) and knitted fabric for fashion and stepper applications, offering one of the widest mélange yarn portfolios in the country.

Infrastructure: The company operates a spinning capacity of 1,06,000 spindles, a dye house with a capacity of 33 tonnes per day, and a knitted fabric facility producing 7 tonnes per day, backed by comprehensive quality-control labs and decades of process innovation in yarn dyeing and mélange blending.

Export: Winsome has won the gold trophy for the highest exporter of processed yarn in India every year since 2011, and was among the first Indian textile companies to achieve ISO-9002, ISO-14001 and ISO-18001 certifications, reflecting its long export track record and quality systems.
